Method and system for updating software configuration parameter, and terminal server

The invention discloses a method for updating a software configuration parameter. The updating method comprises the following steps: a software configuration parameter updating request is transmitted to a server by a terminal, wherein the software configuration parameter updating request includes version numbers of a software configuration parameter set in the terminal, and the software configuration parameter set is the software configuration unit in advance divided and only includes one or several software configuration parameters; data used for updating the software configuration parameter set and transmitted by the server are received and include the newest software configuration parameter set and the version number of the newest software configuration parameter set; according to the newest software configuration parameter set and the corresponding version number, the software configuration parameter set in the corresponding terminal and the corresponding version number are updated. According to the updating method, the software configuration parameter can be directly updated without downloading the entire software package, so that the updating efficiency of the software configuration parameter is improved.
