RECONSTRUCTION AND LABELING OF CORONARY NETWORKS FROM BIPLANE ANGIOGRAPHY: VALIDATION ON REAL DATA

A new method aimed at the three-dimensional reconstruction and the labeling of cardiac vascular networks has been already reported. Two X-ray views are used in conjunction with a qualitative symbolic model of the arterial tree. This short paper summarizes the main steps of the overall approach and describes the first results obtained on real data. The most critical issues are then emphasized and discussed.
