AODV 경로설정 메시지의 D-flag에 따른 무선망의 성능분석

In this paper, the performance of AODV (Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector) routing protocol for wireless ad-hoc networks is evaluated according to the value of D-flag (destination flag) in RREQ message. Only destination node can transfer RREP, but Intermediate nodes can not, to a source node when they receive RREQ with D-flag=1. Therefore, the source node can use a most recent route to transmit data. Through simulation, as D-flag=1, the performance of AODV in terms of throughput and delay is better than one as D-flag=0, but routing overhead increase in former case.
