Light scattering properties in spatial planes for label free cells with different internal structures

Label free cells properties of 2D scattering intensity spectra and 3D scattering images in different spatial fields and planes are studied according to three dimensional finite-difference time-domain simulation results. The correlation of intensity spectra and scattering images in different spatial regions are discussed with different cells nucleus size, nucleus off-center situations, small organelles existence and distribution. Compared the scattering information, the most sensitive spatial regions to cells structures changing are figured out which can be selected to improve label free cells distinguishing accuracy. The research results would be very important to fully discover cells spatial scattering features and provide more reliable sorting criterions for label free cells detection technologies.
