Passivity-based speed control (PBC) of induction motor

Abstract Passivity-based control (PBC) is a new strategy for induction motor control. In this paper, a speed controller is designed based on the PBC torque controller in (Ortega and Espinosa, 1993). At the same time the field orientation can be attained asymptotically. This controller is simple and simulation results show that it has good static and dynamic performance.
