Sub-carriers allocation schemes between cells based on fairness with heavy load in OFDMA based systems

The channel allocation between cells is a key technique in mobile communication systems and become the hot spot in recent researches. In this paper, we propose two channel allocation schemes between cells based on "fairness" principle, "proportional fairness algorithm" and "proportional fairness algorithm based on greedy", for OFDMA based distributed antenna system in heavy load. The simulation results show the performance of "proportional fairness algorithm based on greedy" is better than the "proportional fairness algorithm", and the former is more suitable to the circumstance of the practical mobile networks
