The invention discloses a communication processing method and device. The communication processing method includes reporting capacity indication information to a network side device by a terminal so as to indicate whether the capacity indication information supports dynamic time division duplex uplink/downlink configuration; if the dynamic time division duplex uplink/downlink configuration is supported and time division duplex uplink/downlink configuration indications are received, selecting one of the indicated time division duplex uplink/downlink configuration and the currently used time division duplex uplink/downlink configuration and determining transmission direction of each subframe according to the selected time division duplex uplink/downlink configuration. In the embodiment, the terminal supporting the dynamic time division duplex uplink/downlink configuration selects one of the time division duplex uplink/downlink configurations to determine the transmission direction of each subframe when receiving the time division duplex uplink/downlink configuration indications, and the problem that the transmission direction of the subframes cannot be determined in the scene by existing technical schemes.
