Aerodynamic Analysis on a Superaltitude Winged-airship

This paper proceeded numerical simulations on a winged-airship and a conventional one at superaltitude.The two airship volumes,mass and aerodynamic forces were compared with a same assignment load.The flow was disturbed by the lifting wings and the downstream influence on the tails was studied.The research discovered that,the winged and X-tails layout could obviously reduce the airship volume and mass,increase wind resistant ability,and avoid the direct disturbance to the tails by the lifting wings,as well as the big interference drag formation.
