최적화 기법을 이용한 현가계 댐퍼의 설계

When developing a new vehicle, subjective feeling test is extensively used for the tuning of dampers. This requires a lot of time and efforts. In this study, optimization technique has been applied to suspension damper design for ride comfort. For ride comfort evaluation, PSD(Power Spectral Density) of accelerations at three locations; front, middle, and rear floor are calculated. With the WRMS(Weighted Root Mean Square) as the objective function, damping curves for front and rear suspensions of a large bus have been obtained. These damping curves are compared with those obtained through the subjective feeling test.
