Life Cycle Management Organization of Shenzhen-Hongkong Western Corridor(SWC) Project

A lot of agencies participated in Shenzhen-Hongkong Western Corridor(SWC) project.Moreover,Shenzhen side was responsible for the design and construction of gateway facilities on Hongkong side.Thus the project management was very complicated.The methodology and technology of life cycle integrated management for large project was adopted to solve the problem.In decision phase,design phase,construction phase and operation phase of SWC project,the most suitable management organization was implemented according to the project′s goal and contents.It is concluded that life cycle integrated management for SWC project improves efficiency,avoiding the defects of traditional project management and ensuring the goal′s realization.It is important to guarantee the general objective.
