The invention further discloses a method and device for querying the annotation data in the text. The method comprises the steps of storing the first text character and the annotation data corresponding to the first text character, obtaining an image of the text to be queried, identifying and converting the image of the text into a second text character, querying whether the first text character relevant to the second text character is stored or not, and returning the querying result. By the adoption of the technical scheme, the text and the annotation data are correspondingly stored, the querying can be rapidly carried out, and the user can conveniently share his text annotation data and query text annotation data of others.
