THE DETERMINATION OF THE REINFORCEMENT STEEL OF THE SHORT CANTILEVERS WITH ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORK

The short cantilevers used commonly in industry building and in bridges are one of the important structure components. Therefore the determinations of the steel reinforcement areas of the short cantilevers have great importance. In this study, one application has been presented by giving information about the short cantilevers. In application, a feed-forward artificial neural network has been used and the cantilever reinforcement steel area has been determined. The data that were used in application have been presented to the network by normalizing. The results obtained from the network are seen that the results obtained are sensitive enough when in comparing with numerical results.
