Optimization Designand Study to the Virtual Prototype of the TBM Cutterhead

The paper establishes the three-dimension solid models for the cutterhead and tool of TBM in different geological conditions by Pro / E software, and the three-dimension model is introduced into the ANSYSsoftware to make the finite element stress analysis, calculation to the stress and strain,timely modification to the structural design, virtual assembly and interference check between the cutterhead and TBM, which lead to the realization of the optimization design to the virtual prototype of TBM cutterhead.
