Visible light communication system based on wireless access point

The invention discloses a visible light communication system based on a wireless access point. The visible light communication system comprises a VLC (visible light communication) signal processing subsystem, a VLC signal transmitting-receiving subsystem and a VLC wireless access point subsystem, the VLC signal processing subsystem is connected with a gateway or a server through a digital signal line, the VLC signal transmitting-receiving subsystem is connected with the VLC signal processing subsystem through a fiber and further connected with an LED (light-emitting diode) lamp, visible light signals are transmitted by the LED lamp, wireless signals are transmitted between the VLC wireless access point subsystem and the VLC signal transmitting-receiving subsystem through the visible light signals and uplink wireless signals, and the VLC wireless access point subsystem is wirelessly communicated with a mobile user terminal through a conventional radio frequency wireless communication system. The visible light communication system solves the problem of poor stability of an existing VLC system and is mainly used for short-distance high-speed wireless information transmission of an indoor hot spot region and convenient to apply, high spatial channel capacity can be achieved, and the LED lamp and hardware of mobile user terminal devices do not need to be modified.
