The Implement Methods and the Prospect of Adopting Fingerprint Recognition Technology in University Library

This paper introduced the fingerprint recognition technology and its characteristics and superiority in personal identity verification.It proposed that using the fingerprint recognition technology in the library to solve confusions and problems which encountered by university libraries because of the traditional identity verification methods.The application fields and feasible implement methods of using fingerprint recognition technology in university libraries were expounded.It looked forward to the implement prospect of using fingerprint recognition technology in university libraries and even in the whole universities.
