An imaging device and a bogus note management system including the same are provided to prevent malicious circulation of a bogus note by managing the bogus note correctly/efficiently, and satisfy various desires of a user having no bad intention by allowing the user to print the bogus note according to a desired purpose. A money reader(110) determines whether a read object is money. A storing part(120) stores money registration information including money identification information. A comparator(130) determines sameness between the money identification information stored in the storing part and money recognition information received for recognizing the money when an object is the money. A controller(140) stores history information of the money to the storing part and transmits the history information to a public/government facility server when the money recognition information is identical with the money identification information. An output part(150) outputs the money recognition information received from the controller. The money is a bill, a check, the note, and a security. The history information of the money includes at least one of money reading date and time information, and money use detail information.
