From the Feasibility Study to the Plant Management: The Case-Study of a Combined Cooling Heating Power Plant Installed at the University Polyclinic Campus Bio-Medico of Rome

Aim of the paper is the presentation of a combined cooling heating power plant installed at the University Hospital Campus Bio-Medico of Rome after one year from installation. After a brief description of the plant and the user, the steps followed from the feasibility study to the plant management are focused in the fourth and fifth section. The results obtained after one year of operation are discussed in section six. The most important step of the authorization process and the critical ones of the project management and building works are considered. Finally the gap between goal and real data obtained are discussed with some suggestions useful for those readers involved in the subject area of management and design of energy production by cogeneration.
