하키선수에서 발생한 제 5중족골 피로골절의 지연유합

Fifth-metatarsal stress fractures have a propensity for delayed union or nonunion and have a high risk of refracture after treatment. So, careful evaluation and optimal management are mandatory to succeed in treatment. It is also important to decide time of return to full activity and to wear off postoperative orthosis after operation. We report experience of treatment for the delayed union of proximal fifth metatarsal stress fracture as an athletic injury.
