Traffic model and performance analysis for portable communication systems

Basic concepts and characteristics of three-dimensional microcells in portable communication systems are introduced. A method for building traffic models and analyzing the performance of three-dimensional microcells is proposed. The traffic performance considering handoff is discussed in detail, and some important numerical results of portable communication systems are presented.<<ETX>>
