A Generic Clique Based Distributed Caching Approach For Wireless IoT Networks

In this paper, a distributed storage solution is presented with the aim of reducing the impact of wireless IoT traffic on the Internet backbone. This reduction is achieved by storing the sensor data within the wireless IoT network using codes with Maximum Distance Separable (MDS)properties. To achieve an efficient in-network distributed storage solution, the wireless IoT network is partitioned into groups of disjoint cliques with minimum overlap. Furthermore, the reliability aspects of this storage solution is improved by configuring the cliques in a way that the link outages are minimized.
