This paper considers the supervision of complexes systems using the external models and the bond graph model. The external models can structure the operation of industrial processes, according to several modes of operation (degraded and normal). The switching from one operated mode to another mode is described by a graph called management mode operation graph. These logic functions are controlled by the availability of services and therefore the state of technological components. The graph represents the man-machine interface system supervision. The bond graph model is used for the detection and isolation of fault affecting sensors, actuators or physical components of the process. Thus, the availability of services (necessary for conducting a mission) will be provided by the monitoring algorithm at management modes operation graph. The innovative interest is the use of a combined representation the bond graph and the external models for functional and behavioural modelling for supervision system design.
