Time-domain Simulation Analysis of Power System Transient Stability

Transient stability analysis occupies an important position in the power system planning and operation analysis,which aims to determine whether the system can continue to maintain synchronous operation under the large disturbance.Time-domain simulation method is the most practical method of transient stability analysis.Based on the theoretical analysis,second order R-K algorithm is adopted to solve the calculation example and numerical calculation is done for the power angle δ.The time-domain waveform is drawn in this paper.Then the critical clearing time and the critical clearing angle are discussed.At last,the equal area criterion is adopted to prove the correctness of the time-domain simulation.In addition,the severity of several short-circuit type is discussed.
