Clustering Technology for Smart Grid Dispatching and Control Systems

To deal with the dramatically increased information of smart grid dispatching and control system and the surging processing pressure,the applicability of general clustering technology in smart grid dispatching and control system is analyzed according to the actual needs of power grid development.A clustering architecture for very large scale power grid is put forward.The platform clustering supporting techniques including resource management,heartbeat management,resource location,and distributed data storage and access as well as clustering methods for typical applications(such as data acquisition,real-time monitoring,formula calculation,and online warning)are described.
