A new delay-range-dependent H∞ filter design for T-S nonlinear systems

Abstract This paper focuses on the problem of H ∞ filter design for continuous-time Takagi and Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy systems with time-varying delays. The partitioning time delay technique is used to construct the Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, furthermore, a novel delay-dependent H ∞ filter design approach is proposed based on the matrix decoupling approach, and the filter parameters can be obtained by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The numerical examples show that the proposed method is of less conservativeness than the existing methods.
