μ‐[tert‐Butyl(tert‐butylimino)boran]‐hexacarbonyldicobalt

The coordination compound Co2(CO)6(tBuBNtBu) (2b) is synthesized from Co2(CO)8 and the iminoborane tBuB NtBu (1b). According to IR and NMR data, the iminoborane acts in the same way as the isoelectronic alkyne tBuC CtBu, entering into a bridge position perpendicular to the CoCo bond.
