Bicycle and method for power control thereof

A bicycle and a method for controlling electric power thereof is provided to minimize unnecessary consumed power by controlling the power supplied from the battery of the bicycle according to travelling state and environment of the bicycle. A bicycle comprises a battery(10), a charging circuit(11), a motor driver(12), a console(13), a rotation sensor(17), a brake lever(18), a control module(20) and a motor(30). The battery supplies power to the console, the control module and the motor. The charging circuit senses the voltage of the battery and delivers the voltage to the control module. The charging circuit charges the charge power generated in the rear wheel to the battery. The motor driver functions as a switch to transmit driving signals to the motor. The motor driver is made of a three phase full bridge mode. The console is installed in a handlebar. The rotation sensor senses the rotation speed of a driving bracket and delivers the sensing signals to the control module.
