Mobile Learning: An Android App Using Certified Content

The rapid evolution of mobile networks and the exceptional penetration of mobile devices are under examination by the research and development community for their exploitation by various sectors, such as agriculture. Towards this direction, this paper presents an m-learning app for organic agriculture. It is based on the Bio@gro platform, which provides accurate, certified and multilingual content (i.e. information and services) for organic agriculture stakeholders from Greece, Germany, Romania and Cyprus. By providing certified m-learning content, this app can assist organic stakeholders in achieving and improving their knowledge and practices easily and at low cost. Functionalities and technical details of the app are presented.
