The “Chopstick Drilling Technique”: A novel solution to drilling bone in endoscopic ear surgery

This novel 'Chopstick' drilling technique overcomes the difficulty of drilling with simultaneous suction and irrigation, despite one hand holding the endoscope. Allows more cases to be performed entirely minimally invasively endoscopically, obviating the need for an endaural or postauricular incision in selected cases. Saves operating time for selected endoscopic cases, avoiding switching to the microscope if drilling becomes necessary.
