A method for evaluating a satellite signal in a global navigation satellite system with respect to a multi-path errors, wherein a receiver (7) as part of a position determination from the satellite signals from multiple satellites, based on an runtime measuring running time interval between the receiver (7) and the satellite and on a carrier phase measurement based carrier phase distance between the receiver (7) and the satellite, or one reference point is determined, wherein a difference of the time derivative of the runtime distance and the carrier phase spacing is formed in the receiver (7) as an evaluation parameter, which through at least one multipath criterion for the presence of a multipath error out is evaluated.
