SPLITTING OF VALUATIONS IN EXTENSIONS OF LOCAL DOMAINS.

These noncrossover derivatives which accompany those of crossover origin are found in progenies of the original Ab also, and the same situation is known in the case of certain other loci for which evidence of a complex is available. In a paper to appear elsewhere it is proposed that they occur at meiosis as a result of a crossover within a foldback involving paired members of the serially arranged complex.
