TRUCK WEIGHT DATA PROCESSING, STORAGE, AND REPORTING

This report documents the development of a common methodology for extracting needed data from weigh-in-motion (WIM) units operated by the Pennsylvania Dept. of Transportation. Five computer analyses were developed: (1) average truck weight; (2) equivalent single-axle loads; (3) number of trucks by weight range; (4) trucks exceeding standard weight limits; and (5) cumulative fatigue damage on bridge structures
