A 3D constitutive model for concrete based on a co-rotational concept

This paper discusses the concept of the co-rotational elasticity-based crack model and the assumptions made on the behavior of concrete, in specific on the lateral stress effects. The formulation of the constitutive model is given, including the consistent formulation of the tangent stiffness matrix. The model is applied to a plain concrete notched beam and to a reinforced concrete shear wall.
