The controlled multicast system is characterized by comprising at least one ASM (any source multicast) and SSM (source specific multicast) bidirectional translation gateway based on an IPv6 (internet protocol version 6) connected with at least one client by virtue of an ASM network, at least one unicast and SSM bidirectional translation gateway based on the IPv6 connected with at least one client by virtue of a unicast network and simultaneously connected with the ASM and SSM bidirectional translation gateway by virtue of an SSM network, an NMS (network management system) which is communicated and interacted with the ASM and SSM bidirectional translation gateway and the unicast and SSM bidirectional translation gateway, a network topology database and an information statistical database, wherein the network topology database and the information statistical database are connected with the NMS. The controlled multicast system disclosed by the invention can be used for realizing multicast service sharing among networks supporting different multicast protocols and carrying out uniform scheduling and control on the multicast conversion service.
