CATV/ROF transport systems based on one DFB LD with main and side modes injection-locked

The present invention is the CATV/ROF transport systems based on one Distributed Feedback Laser Diode (DFB LD) with main and side modes injection-locked. The systems use light sources with four different wavelengths which inject into DFB LD in order to transform DFB LD into a multi-mode light source. Hence, the four different wavelengths of the multi-mode light source could be fed into CATV signals and various microwave signals respectively. After the light sources with load signals integrate an optical coupler, signals transmit to a receiver by optical fibers. According to demands of users, the receiver will select needful wavelengths by an optical bandpass filter. After the used wavelengths pass through the process that converts optical signals into electric signals, the systems can process differently in accordance with various kinds of signals. For instance, CATV signals transmit to user and Microwave signals proceed transmission wirelessly.
