AN ALL-COEFFICIENT ADAPTIVE CONTROL METHOD

In this paper, an expression in which the sum of all-coefficients of a model is equal to unity is presented for the problem of single-input/single-output adaptive control system with constant but unknown parameters. Hence, a new recursive algorithm is derived. Using the above result, all unknown parameters of model’s equation can be identified on-line and real time, and converge to engineering truth value. Engineering implementation of the method and its application to simulate a temperature adaptive control system in a space environment are also presented.
