In this article the advanced modeling and simulation of narrow band waveguide diplexer for radio-relay links at 13 GHz is presented. Three different electromagnetic simulation packages were used for design of diplexer with 0.76% of fractional bandwidth and 2% of channel spacing. Simulation tools are compared concerning their accuracy in the prediction of central frequency, bandwidth, insertion and return losses and out of band attenuation. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
