User data management by tabs during a browsing session

Nowadays, most browsers are multi tab, where the user activity is segregated in parallel sessions, one on each tab. However, the user data, including history, cookies and cache, while browsing is not similarly segregated and only accessible together. This presents difficulties for the user to access their data separately by the tab. In this paper, we seek to solve the problem by organizing tab specific browser data in different tabs. We implement the system and present alternate ways to visualize the tab specific data, and also show it does not lead to appreciable slowdown in the browser performance. We also propose a method to convert an incognito tab, where the data is not stored, while browsing into a normal tab and vice versa. Such methods of tabbed data management will enable the user to better organize and view the tab specific data.
