Climatic sub-regions and design contextualism
暂无分享,去创建一个
This paper advocates the division of any area into climatically distinct sub-regions as a method for producing better climatically adapted buildings as well as to encourage regional contextualism in architecture and town planning. A comprehensive approach to planning and design is suggested. The paper attempts to illustrate the methodology and its implications by examining current trends in the Negev Desert, Israel, and proposing alternative patterns.
