Luminescent oligonucleotide-based detection of enzymes involved with DNA repair

DNA repair processes are responsible for upholding the integrity and stability of genomic DNA. Consequently, the development of analytical assays to monitor enzymes involved with DNA repair pathways is of great interest in a variety of disciplines, including biochemistry, cell biology and biotechnology. In this perspective, we highlight examples of the development of luminescent assays for the detection of enzymes involved with DNA repair that have been reported in the last several years.
