Echocardiographic abnormalities in Brazilian sickle cell patients

The b -globin haplotype was studied in 25 patients: 8 (32%) with PH and 17 (68%) without this complication. Four individuals were Benin haplotype homozygotes, 10 Bantu were homozygotes
