250 kW transformer-less voltage dip compensator

Voltage dips cause serious problems for sensitive equipment in industrial applications. The possibility of applying a transformerless dip compensator is investigated as a cost-effective solution to overcome this hazard. This is achieved by means of a power electronic multi-level converter placed in series with the supply.
