Modeling and control of a mutual support hybrid AC/DC micro-grid

Micro-grid is a distribution subnet which has a certain degree of control capabilities and self-regulation, including distributed generation, energy conversion device, load monitoring and protection device. Hybrid AC/DC micro-grid is an ideal and powerful topology model in the process of development of diversification and low cost for the distributed generation, the distribution network and the loads. In this paper, aiming at the access and control applications for the high density distributed power and loads in the hybrid AC/DC distribution network in the future, a new mutual support hybrid AC/DC micro-grid topology structure is proposed. Meanwhile, a corresponding simulation model is established. Based on this, stability of proposed hybrid AC/DC micro-grid system is studied. Finally, simulation results further verified the correctness of the model of hybrid AC/DC micro-grid and the feasibility of the proposed scheme of hybrid AC/DC micro-grid.
