TRANSIT ACCESSIBILITY IMPROVEMENT THROUGH TALKING SIGNS REMOTE INFRARED SIGNAGE. A DEMONSTRATION AND EVALUATION

This technical report sets out the need for accessible signage for people who have print reading disabilities, and discusses why talking signs remote infrared signage is the technology of choice. It also provides the rational for and the results of studying the impact of training on the use of the technology in a complex transit facility.
