Modeling and Simulation of RTLS Based on UHF RFID

Real time locating system(RTLS) based on ultra-high frequency(UHF) Radio Frequency Identification(RFID) will greatly impel the application of RFID.The architecture of RFID-based RTLS was proposed and the whole system was modeled in Matlab/Simulink based on the research on the principle of UHF RFID data transmission.In addition,non-ideal factors of RFID transceiver and propagation channel were strictly modeled to simulate real operating condition.Simulation results verify the reliability of the model and direct the implementation.
