A multilevel information processing technique for risk decision making

The main purpose of this study is to introduce a computational multilevel information processing technique called the heuristic-to-systematic framework into projects on individual decision making, behavior predicting and reasoning under risky situations by using both the heuristic-systematic approach and the elaboration likelihood approach as complementary decision-making mechanism in one multi-process implementation. Moreover, to test its empirical validity, some important evidence is discussed, and the conclusions suggest that with its help, the risk decision making models can better account for real-life choice-making problems.
