선체 진동을 이용한 추진기 캐비테이션 초생속도 분석

The reduction of underwater radiated noise is very important for the naval vessels in order to minimize the detection opportunity. The propeller cavitation which is occurred as the blades of a propeller pass through the water with high speed, causes sudden increase in an acoustic noise level. Therefore, the cavitation inception speed is one of the most important issues. In this work, we analyse the hull vibration characteristics caused by propeller cavitation, which have the impulsive and amplitude modulated broadband noise. And the analysis method of cavitation inception speed based on Mahalanobis distance is suggested. The experimental result shows the proposed method can detect the cavitaion noise presence efficiently.
