The Application of Objective-Oriented Utility-Based Association Rules in the Operation Optimization of the Thermal Power Plant

With the rapid development of the power industry in our country, the integration level of information in power plants will be higher and higher. Large quantity of information that reflects the condition of unit performance is provided by mass sensor data and the experience of experts. Making use of the method of data mining to treat and apply these precious information resource, will have the important and realistic meaning to operation optimization and economical efficiency, stability, reliability...etc. of the unit. At present, the electric power system of China is under reforming and deregulating. It provides the independent power plant owners with the challenges of improving their economies. The advanced theory, Objective-Oriented Utility-Based Association Mining in data mining is adopted to analyze the data of 320MW power generating unit installed in Yingkou power plant. And the guidance system of on-line analyses is also based the application of that. The result given by the system after analyzing shows that the optimization heat rate can be analyzed expediently, effectively and truly. This method could be used to connect the export system, analyze the operation and can also coach the operation personnel, reach the object of optimization operation.
