Effects of TOD on Housing, Parking, and Travel

This report provides original data on transit-oriented development (TOD) residential trip generation and parking, and the behavior and motivation of TOD residents, employees, and employers in their mode choice. The report also identifies best practices to promote, maintain, and improve TOD-related transit ridership. This report will be helpful to project, land-use, and transportation planners; transit agencies; the development community; and federal, state, and local decision makers considering TOD.
