A Repetitive Track Seek Algorithm For Optical Disk Drives

As is well known, lots of servo technologies for the optical disk drive system have been presented. The floating servo mechanism and the position error integration servo method, which were proposed by Inada et al. '), have played an important role in a high speed and accurate position control realization. In this paper, a repetitive track seek algorithm to carry out stable and high speed track seek motion is presented. The algorithm is realized through the velocity error integration. And the simulation results are also shown.
