Analysis of Distributed Passive Radar Imaging and Space-spectrum Property

The 3-D space formation composed of distributed radiation sources, distributed receivers and targets is discussed in this paper. At one snapshot, the imaging formula based on single-frequency radiation signal is derived in detail. Then the distributed passive radar imaging method in spherical coordinate system is proposed, and the imaging resolution and its influencing factors is discussed in space-spectrum.Computer simulation using GPS radiation signal confirms the feasibility of the method.Based on the comparison of space-spectrum filling results,we analyse the impact of space configuration and the number of transceivers on the imaging is analysed, which provides a feasible way for passive radar imaging.
